Price development for solar power plants: 13 percent less compared to previous year
05.10.2010: Based on the calculations of the Bundesverband Solarwirtschaft e.V. (BSW-Solar), the prices for turnkey solar power plants decreased by average 13 percent during the last 12 months. Reduced investment costs and the pending cut of feed-in tariffs have driven demand to record levels in this year. In the first half year of this year alone, according to the information provided by the Federal Network Agency, the photovoltaic capacity newly installed in Germany was 3.8 gigawatts and therefore equal to the installed capacity in the whole of 2009. The BSW-Solar expects up to eight gigawatts of newly installed capacity in Germany until the end of the year. ... Source: Bundesverband Solarwirtschaft; Summary: PHOTON
Figures for increased installed photovoltaic capacity:
Feed-in tariff reduces by 13 percent
30.09.2010: The Federal Network Agency today published the preliminary figures relating to the increase in installed photovoltaic capacity in Germany until and including August 2010. The figures show a photovoltaic capacity of 2,126 megawatts in June, 669 in July and 360 in August, in total 3,156 megawatts.
Therefore, it becomes clear already now that the feed-in tariff for solar energy as defined in the Renewable Energy Law (EEG) will decrease by 13 percent with effect from 1 January 2011.
According to the EEG, the degression depends on the additional capacity installed between the four months from June through September 2010, multiplied by the factor three. If more than 6,500 megawatts of installed capacity are added in this way, calculation shall be based on the maximum degression rate of 13 percent permitted by law. The relevant rate of 2,167 megawatts (6,500 divided by three) for the period of four months is significantly exceeded already after just three months. Experience also shows that the final figures to be expected at the end of October will yet exceed the preliminary figures. Estimations made by the Federal Network Agency at the end of July referring to the month of June “approximate“ 1,700 megawatts of added capacity, i.e. 400 megawatts less than the meanwhile determined value.
25th Anniversary:
From 2–6 June 2010
Solarzentrum Allgäu will celebrate its 25 anniversary in June. On this occasion, we will organise different events and meetings to thank all our customers, business partners and employees for the good cooperation at.
On Wednesday, the 2 June 2010, we will start our anniversary week with a beach party. The band "hellwAch" will entertain all guests with Ska, Jazz and Funk music from 8.00 p.m. Another highlight will be the band "Friction" that exclusively travels from Shanghai to Altdorf to turn the evening into a truly successful and pleasurable event performing cover rock of the superlative. This is followed by open house days on Saturday, the 5 June 2010, and Sunday, the 6 June 2010, peppered with several events and lectures. Please refer to the enclosed leaflet for the precise timetable of the festivities scheduled. We are happy to welcome you and wish to thank you for the good cooperation over the last 25 years.
