![]() Something ingenious is always simple Any experienced solar system installer knows the dangers that can arise from heavy snow loads. These put pressure on the roof – with the solar or PV system in between. If a roof hook where the modules are fixed gives way for only a few millimetres, the roof tile will break, thus causing unnecessary costs and risks for installers and customers. Therefore, maximum safety was the reason for developing our »VARIO« assembly system. The hook is round The ingenious thing about the »VARIO« roof hook is its shape – the bend. It is extremely stable, but gives way and thus lightens the load of the roof tile beneath. Moreover, it is economical: Usually, half the number of roof hooks is sufficient, thus saving time and money. In snow load zone II (600m above sea level), a »VARIO« roof hook has to be mounted only every 1.8 metres.
Thanks to its special design, the VARIO roof hook is elastic, i.e. springs back when there are heavy loads, e.g. snow, and hence prevents bonder break.
